First Arizona School with a 3D Printer

Making Chess Pieces

Roseann Higgins and friends donated a 3D Printer for StarShine's Innovation Center, Maker Space, STREAM (Innovation in Science, Technology, Reading X PRIZE, Arts, and Math) Laboratory. The students decided to make chess sets first and are dreaming up ways to use the 3D Printer to launch a business. StarShine students are all taught how to think like an entreprenuer, so this addition to our school is very exciting.

StarShine loves to have outside Mentors and Guides to give us more real experiences. If you would like to be a mentor or a teacher's assistance for a class or one student, please contact us at info @starshine.us
