My name is Jackie Fochtman and I am very happy to be joining the wonderful staff at Starshine Academy.  I would like to take a moment to tell you a little about myself.  I attended The University of Arizona where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.  After receiving my degree, I moved to Texas where I taught for six years, and then South Carolina where I taught for two years.  I have taught multiple grade levels including first, second, fourth and sixth grade.  This is my ninth year of teaching in an elementary classroom and I feel very privileged to be able to teach to such a diverse group of learners in such an enriched environment.  I am looking forward to seeing what the rest of the year holds for all of us.
