I am excited to resume my teaching career as one of the members of the StarShine Academy team after many years as a stay-at-home mom. I have worked in a number of educational environments including corrections, special needs inclusion, and public schools, and am most encouraged by the principles StarShine implements within our curriculum. StarShine recognizes that each student is beautiful, unique, and multi-dimensional. By using a holistic approach to learning and educating, we empower students not only to do well on tests, but to develop into the people who are able to serve their own, as well as the community’s, greatest good.
